Production, Shipping, Timeline, & Payment
All three versions (the 2 small versions and the large version) are on the same estimated production schedule:

  • Equipment Investment: It’s been a challenge to get a 3D scanning company in South Bend, so we’ve decided to investing in 3D scanning and printing equipment to achieve the highest quality and precision for the original Eck Center design. This equipment is crucial not just for this project but also for future work, allowing us to scan and create detailed prototypes of complex pieces. It gives us full control over the process, ensuring exceptional results every time.
  • Version 1: South Bend Visit to Scan: We’ve been in communication with the Eck Visitors Center, and they are on board with us coming down to scan the original Four Horsemen sculpture. We will use this 3D data to create both the larger and smaller size original Version 1 prototype. We’re planning this trip for January while the students are off from school.
  • Version 2 Sculpting: The 17” wide sculpture for V2 is well underway. We’re planning to have this sculpture completed and a prototype ready to send to Thailand along with the other two prototypes by early Febuary. *See Sculpture in Progess
  • Prototyping: Prototypes of all three pieces will be completed by early February.
  • Send Prototype, Master Mold & Casting:  Prototypes will be sent to Thailand for master molds and bronze casting. (molds & cast approximately 3 weeks)
  • Shipping to the US: Overseas shipping will take 6–8 weeks.
  • Estimated Delivery: We’ve refined our process and we’re expecting the timeline for the scanning and production moving forward efficiently to ensure timely delivery. We’re estimating that the pieces should arrive to us by mid to late April. Once they arrive, we’ll add frames to Version 1 and ship all piece immediately to you.

Pre-order Payment: Pre-orders to be paid in full upon placing your order. You may pay via check or we can provide you with a convenient Square invoice. We will furnish you with a signed Artist/Collector Agreement and payment receipt for your records.

Why Your Pre-Orders are Important

Pre-orders make this project possible by helping us with significant upfront costs, like scanning equipment, software, a 3D printer, production molds & casing, travel, shipping and other necessary expenses.

Your early support helps us and that’s why we’ve set the pre-order prices as low as possible — as a thank-you for helping make this happen.

If you’d like to order one (or more) of these limited pieces, we’ll send you an Artist/Collector Agreement and an invoice. Payment can be made via check or a secure Square invoice, and we’ll take care of the shipping on the smaller pieces and a $350 additional crate & shipping charge for the large piece when it is ready to ship.

Thank you for your interest and support.

Paul
